The Dubai Premier Padel P1 returns to the Hamdan Sports Complex from 8 to 15 November, with property developer Emaar as title partner for the first time. It is the last P1 of the 2026 season and one of the final two chances to collect points before the Premier Padel Finals in Barcelona.
Venue and prize money
The tournament's own site and Emaar's announcement in September both confirm the dates and the venue. Hamdan, whose main hall is built around an Olympic-size pool, first hosted padel last year, when organisers set up a 7,000-seat centre court there. The FIP event page lists prize money of €479,068, slightly up on the €474,500 offered in 2025, and gives 21 October as the entry deadline. Tickets start at AED 45, according to the organisers. Tournament director Iván Modia said the event "has continued to grow year on year".
A short but clear history
Dubai joined the Premier Padel calendar in 2024. The first edition, from 3 to 10 November at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium, ended with Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia beating Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto 6-4 6-3. Bea González and Delfi Brea won the women's title, beating Alejandra Alonso and Andrea Ustero 6-2 6-3 in González's first event back from injury.
The move to Hamdan in 2025 produced a similar men's final. Coello and Tapia beat Galán and Chingotto 6-3 6-4 in 66 minutes, the FIP reported, for their 11th title of that season. González won again, this time with Claudia Fernández, beating top seeds Brea and Gemma Triay 6-1 7-5. "It's a pleasure to come back here, I have great memories of Dubai," González told the FIP after the final.
The tournament recalls that Bea González has won every Dubai P1 played so far.
Dubai presents its new title partnership with Emaar.
A split title defence
The women's champions no longer play together. González now partners Paula Josemaría, and Fernández plays with teenager Martina Calvo, so both halves of last year's winning team return as rivals. Triay and Brea, beaten in the 2025 final, arrive as the leaders of the FIP Race. Coello and Tapia, meanwhile, return as world No 1s chasing a third straight Dubai title.
What it means for Barcelona
The Finals at Palau Sant Jordi run from 10 to 13 December, with 16 men and 16 women qualifying through the FIP Race. After the Kuwait Major, Dubai's 1,000 points for the winners and the Mexico Major in Acapulco (23 to 29 November) are the last big prizes left. For pairs hovering around the qualifying places, a deep run in Dubai may decide whether they travel to Barcelona.
Timing could also matter. The World Cup final in Doha is on 7 November, the day before Dubai begins, so players on the Spanish and Argentine teams have little time to recover. Draws and results will appear on our Dubai P1 page. The qualifying picture is covered in our end-of-season preview, the Barcelona Finals page and the padel rankings.
