World No. 1 Iga Swiatek went to Mallorca after Madrid and on Monday she posted a picture of a special coffee she was served in Mallorca.

Last week, Swiatek went to Madrid for a WTA1000 event.

Unfortunately, Swiatek wasn’t able to compete as she was forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a shoulder injury.

After Madrid, Swiatek went to Mallorca, where she will probably spend a few days preparing for Rome.

Swiatek is a huge fan of Nadal so seeing her go to Mallorca and visiting Nadal’s academy shoudln’t be a big surprise.

Swiatek grew up idolizing Nadal

Swiatek is now a tennis superstar but still she gets goosebumps when she watches Nadal matches.

Swiatek, who captured her first Grand Slam title at the French Open in 2020, recently revealed she cried after Nadal lost his French Open semifinal last year to Djokovic.

“Rafael Nadal has always been my idol. I have pretty sad memories of Roland Garros last year because I was crying when Rafa lost against Novak [Djokovic]. But two years ago, I was watching the final. I had the trophy photoshoot [after I won the women’s title],” Swiatek told Eurosport France. “I was wearing this really nice long dress and went to see the final like this. It was nice because I didn’t get the chance to see [Nadal] play so often. I wanted to use that occasion.”

Earlier this year, Swiatek reached the Australian Open semifinal before losing to Danielle Collins.

After the loss, Swiatek stayed in Melbourne for a few more days as she wanted to watch Nadal in the final.

During the Nadal and Daniil Medvedev final, the cameras caught Swiatek celebrating and going crazy during Nadal’s stunning comeback.

When asked about Swiatek, Nadal had only nice and positive words about the new world No. 1.
