The ATP Finals 2023 will guarantee participants the richest prize money ever. The year-end Master takes a step further and aims to be the richest tournament ever, reaching record figures. As Eurosport Italia reports, last year the figures were already mind-boggling: $4,740,300 is the sum that Novak Djokovic earned in the last edition, he who became champion of the Finals tournament undefeated. This figure will rise in 2023. As announced, this year’s winner could earn $4,801,500, a figure that becomes $4,411,500 if he loses one match along the way. $4,021,500 for the tournament winner who wins three matches along the way. This is the figure that refers only to the winner, but it is the total prize money that is record-breaking. There are 15 million dollars up for grabs from the tournament and mathematics helps define how much a single match won is worth: the sum collected will be $390,000. A prize money that is usually up for grabs for a player who wins a 250 tournament or slightly lower than an ATP 500 tournament. Eurosport in particular refers to the current tournaments in Basel and Vienna, whose final prize money is a total of 400 thousand dollars .
