Novak Djokovic and Hubert Hurkacz are good friends

As you’ve seen from the attached video, Novak Djokovic and Hubert Hurkacz act friendly with each other even though they are opponents. After all, Hubert is part of the organization founded by Novak, PTPA. In Paris, they even partied together at a dinner meeting.

While being in Paris for theĀ Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic attended a rooftop party alongside additional members of the Professional Tennis Players Association, namely Paula Badosa, Ons Jabeur, Hubert Hurkacz, John Isner,Ā Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Vasek Pospisil, and Saisai Zheng. A film crew shot the party and put together an after-movie.

Djokovic also praised Hurkacz’s game before their Wimbledon encounter.

“We met here four years ago.

It was a very tough match, because he serves extremely powerfully. He covers the court very well, he has very long arms. He plays very well at the net and has had many successes in doubles. He is also comfortable when he hits from the baseline.

He is a really complete player. I don’t see too many holes in his game.I know it will be the toughest challenge so far in this tournament.Ā He beat Roger Federer here. He is a super nice guy, a person I really appreciate even off the court. It will be a great battle, I can’t wait. I’ll have to be at my best to win,” said Djokovic.
