Iga Swiatek has joined Naomi Osaka and Monica Seles on an exclusive list as the Pole is the third female in the Open Era to go 4/4 in her first four Grand Slam finals, per OptaAce.
On Saturday, top-seeded Swiatek defeated Karolina Muchova 6-2 5-7 6-4 in the French Open final to secure her fourth Grand Slam title just 10 days after turning 22.
Seles won her first six Grand Slam finals before finishing her career with a 9-4 record in her Slam finals.
A few years ago, Osaka became the first player after Seles to win her first four Grand Slam finals.
Osaka, 25, hasn’t played in any Grand Slam finals since landing her fourth Grand Slam title at the 2021 Australian Open.
On the other side, Swiatek won the French Open finals in 2020, 2022 and 2023.
Also, Swiatek defeated Ons Jabeur in the 2022 US Open final.

Muchova, 26, was playing in her first Grand Slam final and she didn’t start well.
Muchova was also down by a break in the second set but she stunningly recovered to force a third set.
In the third set, Muchova was twice up by a break but failed to capitalize.
After the match, Swiatek spoke extremely highly of Muchova.
“I feel like I know Karolina’s game, because I played many practices with her since 2019. And I also watch her actually more than most of the players; just a coincidence, but it (has) happened. And I really like her game, honestly. I really respect her, and she’s I feel like a player who can do anything. She has great touch; she can also speed up the game. She plays with that kind of, I don’t know, freedom in her movements. And she has a great technique. So I watched her matches and I feel like I know her game pretty well,” Swiatek said of Muchova after the French Open final.
