Alcaraz said about the possible challenge with Nole: “Well, I don’t want to rush, you know. I just focus on the first round. Yes, I look for the first round first, but of course it could be a great match against Novak. Playing against the number 1 in the world is great for me. I hope to play well in the first round. I hope to meet him in the quarter-finals.”
Alcaraz’s sensations for Montecarlo
If Carlos Alcaraz was one of the protagonists of this start of the season, together with his compatriot Rafa Nadal, for Novak Djokovic it is almost a debut: after his participation in Dubai, that of Monte Carlo is the first tournament on European soil. In the interview released on the ATP tour, reported by Sportskeeda, Alcaraz also talked about the victory of the last Masters 1000, the one in Miami: “It was really special, I mean, I had time to celebrate with my friends, with the family at home for a couple of days. But now it’s time to focus on clay, on the first 1000 Masters on clay in Monte-Carlo.”
