Nick Kyrgios sets profitable Gael Monfils showdown in Mexico

Nick Kyrgios announced on Instagram that he will play an exhibition match against Gael Monfils in Mexico City on November 9. The match will take place at the CDMX Arena.

According to Marca, in addition to the singles duel between the Europeans, there will also be a doubles match involving Mexicans Santiago González and Henry López and Colombians Juan Sebastián Cabal and Robert Farah. The showdown of tennis will be closed by a musical event held by Cristian Castro.

Kyrgios announced the event on his Instagram account. “Let’s go, Gael Monfils! Let’s put on a show (lots of money emojis),” Kyrgios wrote on his Instagram Stories.

Kyrgios will play in Dubai with Djokovic

Novak Djokovic, Iga Swiatek, and Nick Kyrgios are just a few of the big names that will play in a new tennis event that will take place in Dubai before Christmas day, between the 19th and 24th of December, 2022. Besides Djokovic, Swiatek, and Kyrgios, other players have confirmed their participation as well.

Among them are Simona Halep, Elena Rybakina, and Alexander Zverev. “This new event is exciting, there’s no doubt about it,” said Djokovic in a WTL release.

“I absolutely love playing in Dubai, I’ve had a lot of success there over the years and really enjoy the fans. This is something different, and it’s going to be great being a part of it.”

Kyrgios challenged Alcaraz to a match in Spain

Questioned on Instagram if he is eager to have a match against US Open conqueror Carlos Alcaraz, Nick Kyrgios answered by challenging Carlos to a match in Spain. “I’m always ready. Carlos Alcaraz, let’s get a big match in Spain going,” Kyrgios wrote on his Instagram Stories along with many “money sack” emojis, suggesting that cash would be involved.
