Alcaraz has put a strong team around him and is willing to listen to the advice he gets from those close to him. “If I had to highlight two strong points of Carlos, I would prefer his talent and the culture of effort that he has received from the team. We managed to make him understand that, without effort, talent can be lacking, and that at these levels it is essential to take care of all the details,” Moreno told ATP Tour en EspaƱol. On Sunday, Alcaraz defeated Casper Ruud 7-5 6-4 in his first Masters final. Having someone like 2003 French Open champion Ferrero in his corner definitely helped Alcaraz before his first major final.
