After three years Nick Kyrgios came back to play on clay-courts. The Australian tennis player has always made it clear that he does not like this surface very much but at the same time he is in a phase of his career that we can consider quite calm.
In recent months Nick has appeared growing, especially from a mental point of view and except for a few rare episodes (see with Sinner) he has only shown his talent. In Houston Kyrgios reached the quarter-finals and in the day he will face the 1998 American Michael Mmoh.
The surface changes but not the ideas of Nick who even on earth tries to surprise the opponent with his usualĀ serve from below. We should recall that Nick Kyrgios will come back to play the Roland Garros in 2023, as his girlfriend would like to visit Paris.
