Matteo Berrettini has come back from the injury that kept him away from the courts for over 80 days, returning immediately to win a title. So many emotions, all in a few moments.
From the very complicated moment of the surgeryĀ and the rehabilitation of his right hand to the joy of the first ATP title of the season, right after returning from the injury. Matteo Berrettini was able to immediately leave his mark on his beloved grass, winning the ATP 250 in Stuttgart and beating a championĀ like Andy Murray in the final.
After the match point, the blue greeted the British and the chair judge as usual, then bursting into tears for the triumph (definitely unexpected at the beginning of the week).
Now the 26-year-old Roman can think of obtaining an important result also at Queen’s, a competition in which he must defend the title and 500 points to keep the top 10, before losing it 100% after Wimbledon.
