Djokovic Will Skip Paris Masters, Could Be Done in 2024

The Grand Slam king will pass on Paris, which leaves Turin in some doubt.

This year’s Paris Masters will be missing the most successful player in tournament history.

Seven-time champion Novak Djokovic announced today that he will skip the event.

“I have a lot of great memories, winning seven titles there, and hope to be back with you next year,” he wrote.

Djokovic did not give a specific reason for his withdrawal.

It isn’t clear yet if Djokovic plans to play at the ATP Finals, where he is also a seven-time champion. He’s currently in sixth in the Race to Turin standings, but could be passed by several players next week in Paris.

The ATP Finals will take place from November 10-17 in Turin, Italy.

Djokovic has said he plans to attend Davis Cup in November as a spectator, and has an exhibition scheduled with Juan Martin del Potro in Buenos Aires on December 1st.
