Top names headline the upcoming 2024 Mubadala Citi Open event in Washington D.C.
Tennis fans in Washington, D.C. will once again be treated to world class tennis as several top players headline this yearās ATP/WTA 500 Mubadala Citi Open.
While the long-running tournament will take place at the same time as the Summer Games in Paris, many top players will be on site in the nationās capital. Thatās due to several players choosing not to compete at the Olympics for various reasons. The field includes nine of the worldās top 20 players.
Reigning two-time Australian Open champion and World No. 3 Aryna Sabalenka will return to the event for the first time since 2017. Her inclusion is a bit of surprise given that Sabalenka was forced to withdraw from Wimbledon due to a shoulder injury.
