Roland Garros will award about €53.5 million in total prize money this year, which is an increase of more than 7.8 per cent compared to 2023.
Men’s and women’s Roland Garros winners will earn a champion’s check of €2.4 Million (about $2.6 Million), which is double the €1.2 Million (about $1.3 Million) finalists will receive.
Last year, men’s champion Novak Djokovic and women’s winner Iga Swiatek each earned €2.3 Million for their French Open victories.
At the 2024 Australian Open, men’s champion Jannik Sinner and two-time women’s winner Aryna Sabalenka each earned $2.08 Million.
