Sabalenka Graces the Cover of Vogue Australia Digital

The 25-year-old dolled it up for the camera and talked about her recent triumph in Vogue.

Aryna Sabalenka has always had a thing for modeling. The 25-year-old Belarusian loves to flirt with the camera and sheā€™s never been shy about posting the result on her social media feeds.

After her successful title defense at the 2024 Australian Open, Sabalenka got to live another dream of hers ā€“ she graced the January cover of Vogue Australia Digital.

She also talked to the magazine about what it means to become the first woman to successfully defend the womenā€™s singles title in Melbourne since Victoria Azarenka in 2013.

ā€œI think the best thing was I was able to handle pressure really well and compete at such a high level with all the pressure, which was the best thing I did over the last couple of weeks,ā€ Sabalenka told Vogue.

The two-time major champion says it was tough to ignore the pressure, because it was a topic she simply couldnā€™t avoid.

ā€œYou try to ignore it but you see your pictures everywhere,ā€ she said. ā€œLike, every interview you get these questions about defending the title. You try to ignore it but still itā€™s in your head. For two weeks youā€™re really fighting with yourself inside, trying not to let these doubts come into your mind. Itā€™s been a really tough couple of weeks and Iā€™m really happy I was able to get through.ā€
