Shocking what happened at the US Open, on the Arthur Ashe Stadium, during the match between Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev, when a fan insulted the German player by praising the name Adolf Hitler.
During the fourth set the German player became furious about the situation, complaining to the chair umpire about the insults he had received and he had the harassing fan who sat right behind the chair umpire kicked out.
Zverev told the chair umpire: “He yelled Hitler’s most famous line at me. It’s unacceptable!”
Security officers approach two people sitting in the front rows behind the chair umpire, talk to a man and then get him off his feet and escort him out, while the crowd boos and bangs on the fan.
The fan was filmed by the cameras when he clearly heard what the German player said to the British chair umpire James Keothavong to protest the abusive statements of the person present in the stands.
Alexander Zverev beat Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner after a five-set battle, with the German returning to the quarterfinals of the US Open where he will face Carlos Alcaraz.

The other matches
Matteo Arnaldi reached the second week in a Major for the first time and surrendered only to the defending champion Carlos Alcaraz with the score of 6-3, 6-3, 6-4 .
The Spaniard carefully played the key points of the match and, without overdoing it, became the second player able to gain access to the quarterfinals of the US Open on three occasions before turning 21 in the Open Era: only Andre Agassi had accomplished this feat in the three-year period 1988-1990.
As if that weren’t enough, Alcaraz has also matched Johan Kriek and taken at least quarterfinals in his first three appearances at Flushing Meadows.
Marketa Vondrousova and Madison Keys will compete for one of the two places in the semifinals in the bottom half of the women’s main draw. For the reigning Wimbledon champion, this is the first qualification for the quarterfinals of the US Open, while Keys participated in the last act of the home Slam in 2017.
