Serena Williams took the role of a movie critic on Tuesday, when she wrote a review of the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie set to appear in theatres on November 11, 2022.
“I am a @marvel FANATIC. Back starting from the comics. Black Panther @blackpanther hands down was and is the best marvel movie I have EVER seen. I cried. I cheered. I laughed. And I cried. It deserves and should win Oscar’s @im.angelabassett @badgalriri song- ties it all together. Thank you Black Panther cast,” Serena wrote on Instagram.
What is the new Black Panther movie about
Per IMDB, the storyline of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reads as follows: “Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye and the Dora Milaje fight to protect the kingdom of Wakanda from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia and Everett Ross and forge a new path for their nation.”
Serena also loves Thor
In June this year, Serena Williams revealed how she prepared for the 1st round of Wimbledon after being away from tennis courts for one year, and, surprisingly, it didn’t involve tennis courts but a lot of mental relaxation. Serena shared a video on her Instagram account displaying her crafting a LEGO puzzle of Thor’s Hammer and watching Iron Man.
“In case you’re wondering how I prep for Wimbledon: I relax my mind by doing LEGOs,” Serena says at the start of the video. Then, she showed that she already started building the LEGO version of Thor’s hammer.
“Thor: Love and Thunder is coming out so I want to be on brand,” said Williams.
