US Open champion Emma Raducanu was impressed by Heather Watson’s holiday photos in which the latter showed off her fit body highlighted by bikin*s.
“Woah,” Emma Raducanu commented on the photos that Watson posted on Instagram.
Moreover, Raducanu was not the only player that was impressed by Heather Watson’s apparition.
Australian player Ellen Perez said: “you blow my mind”, after seeing the photos. Another Australian tennis player, Lizette Cabrera, described Watson as a “gorgeous human.”
Furthermore, compatriot Naomi Broady characterized Heather’s holiday photos as “unreal.”
Heather Watson herself captioned the photos she took in Mykonos, Greece, using an old Roman saying: “We came. We saw. We conquered.”
In the end, it seems that Watson healed from her leg bruises. During Wimbledon, she complained about her legs’ condition. “I’ve had so many falls,” she said, pointing to her legs. “I’ve got bruises everywhere. And one of the slips I had against Kaja Juvan, one of the muscles at the back of my knee had a reaction. I felt that quite a lot yesterday. It wasn’t too long, so I managed to get away with it. But my knees are pretty unstable right now.”
Watson’s Wimbledon run
Watson stopped in the 1/8 finals of Wimbledon this year. She defeated Tamara Korpatsch, Q. Wang, and Karla Juvan, before bowing down to J. Niemeier.
“Immediately after walking off the court, I was obviously extremely disappointed. I’ve taken every match here as a big opportunity and managed to take advantage of it until today. But credit to my opponent. I felt like she played really well, especially in that first set. Very flawless tennis. I actually was thinking at the end of the first set trying to think of unforced errors she’d hit, and I could only think of two. She served very big, which I think was a big difference today. I felt like I was always reacting to her ball. Not on the front foot like I had been in my other matches,” said Watson after the defeat.
