Naomi Osaka has teamed up with fashion brand Levis and she says the logo from their upcoming collection is a true reflection of who she is as a person.
Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam champion, wanted something creative and Levis made her wish come true as the logo from the upcoming collection features a bear holding a flower.
“We did several creative workshops where I shared a lot about my style and personality, which led to several iterations of the flower bear concept. The logo is super special to me now since it’s a true reflection of who I am, ferocious like the bear when I’m on the court, but soft and gentle like the flower when I’m off,” Osaka said, per Sportskeeda.

The collection is set for a release on July 13.
āI feel like my personal style is a pretty good mix of both sporty and feminine, and I think this collection reflects that. I wanted to include some pieces that were wearable for everyone, so we designed the Naomi ā93 Jean and the Artist Coat for that reason,” Osaka explained. “That was the first piece I designed and we made a sample earlier in the year, which Iāve been wearing nonstop. Iāve already styled it a million different ways, but I mostly wear it with a T-shirt, bucket hat, and sandals for a casual daytime look.”
Meanwhile, Osaka hasn’t played since the French Open due to an Achilles injury.
After losing her first round match at the French Open, Osaka decided to skip the entire grass season and focus on recovering from an Achilles injury.
Osaka was scheduled to play Berlin and Wimbledon during this past grass season but she didn’t want to risk further aggravating her injury.
This week, Toronto released their entry list and Osaka is one of the names who have signed up to play at the tournament.
The National Bank Open takes place between August 8-14 and Osaka is expected to play there.
