Jannik Sinner is as back on the court for the Umag tournament, ATP 250 event which takes place on the Croatian clay-courts. Italian initially suffered the change of surface between grass and clay but managed to regulate an annoying terraiolo like the Spanish tennis player Jaume Munar.
The South Tyrolean tennis player, Italian number one, won with a double 6-4 and with two sets that had a very similar story. The blue goes ahead by a break and then slows down and makes the same mistakes in both sets.
In the end, however, the Italian manages to win and thus gain access to the quarter-finals and in the next round he will face the Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena, an insidious opponent on this surface.
Possible derby against Musetti in the semifinals. Meanwhile Sinner was the protagonist of an exemplary sportmanship gesture towards his opponent.
