He had to sweat the proverbial seven shirts to get through the first round of the 2022 edition of Wimbledon, on the lawns of the All England Club: Nick Kyrgios took a really big risk against home tennis player Paul Jubb, managing to win the match in the fifth set 7-5.
Despite all the difficulties encountered and some of his behaviors that penalized him, the Australian has taken off the pass and will continue his adventure in the London Slam. The 26-year-old from Canberra offered his usual show, with tons of great points.
Among these, a winning baseline forehandĀ that surprised the British and also the crowd in the stands.
Kyrgios could have a great chance to get a great result this edition of Wimbledon, especially thanks also to the many players absent from the London Slam.
