Swiss tennis star Belinda Bencic has signed up to play Bad Homburg, per Jannik Schneider.
Bencic, 25, has no previous appearances on the grass courts of Bad Homburg so she will be making her debut at the German grass court event in June.

Last year, Bencic played in Germany leading up to Wimbledon but not in Bad Homburg.
Instead, Bencic went to Berlin, where she reached the final before losing to Liudmila Samsonova.
After a strong run in Berlin, Bencic didn’t have much success in Great Britain as was beaten in the Eastbourne round-of-16 and suffered a shock first round defeat at Wimbledon.
Bad Homburg is scheduled to take place between June 19-25 and Bencic will be among top favorites for the title.
Bencic having a solid clay season
Bencic’s main focus is on the clay season as she is hoping to make some strong results before she switches her focus onto the grass season.
After ending runner-up in Charleston, Bencic suffered a round-of-16 loss to Ons Jabeur in Madrid.
This week, Bencic made a positive start to her Rome campaign as she defeated Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the first round 6-4 6-2.
Bencic made a slow start to the match as she got broken early and Cocciaretto led 3-1 after the opening four games.
Midway through the first set, Bencic started playing much better as she broke back Cocciaretto in the fifth game.
Bencic missed out on a break point in the seventh game but broke Cocciaretto in the ninth game to open a 5-4 lead.
In the 10th game, Bencic faced a break point but saved to win the first set.
After winning the first set, Bencic made a strong start to the second set as she broke Cocciaretto in the third game to open a 2-1 lead.
Bencic earned her second break of the set in the seventh game, before serving out for the match in the following game.
